Margaret Fortna – Administrator/Staffing Supervisor
Margaret is Lebanon County through and through—she has lived here her entire life, attended Lebanon Catholic High School and received her LPN from Lebanon Valley Career and Technology Center. That explains why she is passionate about serving the needs of Lebanon County residents as the owner of Hands-On Nursing. With more than 20 years of nursing and senior care experience, Margaret is adept at ensuring our clients’ daily needs are met quickly and professionally by our well-trained staff. She continues to support her community as a member of both the Lebanon and Lancaster Chambers of Commerce.
Steve Fortna – Home Care Administrator
For 15 years Steve has handled all of the back-office work required to provide quality care to our clients. He handles employee scheduling and payroll, client invoicing and anything else needed to keep the organization running smoothly. When he gets a chance to get out from behind the desk, Steve is off enjoying the great outdoors—golfing, boating, fishing, or hanging out at the beach with family and friends.
Joleen Turner – Case Worker
Joleen is often the face of Hands-On Nursing, providing initial home visits and follow-up visits to ensure care plans are up to date and caregivers are following the plan, performing the tasks appropriately, in a timely manner, and to the client’s satisfaction. Her 30 years of nursing experience in long-term care, acute care and primary care uniquely qualifies her to be an advocate for our clients. Joleen earned her RN degree from Harrisburg Area Community College and her BSN from Eastern Mennonite University. She loves her life in Lebanon County but finds pleasure in traveling to explore the world.
Lindsey Fortna – Office Manager/HR
As office manager at Hands-On Nursing, Lindsey juggles a number office jobs, scheduling and casework, serving as a major asset to the operations. She currently resides in Lancaster, PA and studied marketing at Penn State. When she’s not at work, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family, working out, reading, and gardening.
